Our Leadership

Rev. Trevor Saggers
Hi, I was born in the Shire, Sydney. I also have a love-hate relationship with Cronulla Sharks, but please don’t hold that against me. Sue and I got married in 1983 and now have three sons and three granddaughters.
In 1988 a whole lot of things happened in our lives that resulted in Sue and I turning to the Lord after I did a course called Christianity Explained. After a short stint in Ulladulla and in San Souci, we came to Cairns and have lived here since 2000.
As a pastor in the Anglican Church, I love seeing people turn to Jesus and become more like him. God has also wired me to love the bush and the more remote the better. I feel that Sue likes it too – well, she at least puts up with it.
For more than 20 years we have served our Lord at TGS (The Good Shepherd), but the next part of our walk with him has taken us to another church and this time a new one in a new diocese (The Southern Cross Diocese). Please join us at NHA (Northern Hope Anglican). We would love to see you.
