The Belong Course

Commitment. It's something that our modern Western culture struggles with. In our day people click "maybe" to facebook events rather than making a commitment either way. Maybe that's why so many people resonated with Beyonce singing "if you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it." We struggle with commitment.

So what's it look like when you've been 'dating' a church for a while and you decide to commit and become a member of that church? What should you expect of the church? What should the church expect of you?

That's what the Belong Course is all about. It helps people see what it means to commit to a church and what it looks like to be a healthy church member. While this course is not a requirement to be a member at Northern Hope, we highly encourage people to come along to help them see what the church and church membership is all about.
